Hi, I’m Theresa. I’m a creative type who loves to travel, entertain, and spend time with family and friends. For nearly two decades, I’ve worked in communications and marketing as a television producer, on-air talent, and a press liaison.
For 364 days of the year, I anxiously await the silliest and sometimes scariest night of the year. My love of fall and Halloween could have stemmed from seeing the trees burst into beautiful autumnal colors during fall road trips or all the scary movies I binge watched as a teenager. Or, it could come from a love of entertaining. Regardless, decorating for, and planning Halloween get togethers allows me to flex my creative muscles as anything goes.
And I’m not alone. In 2019, other like-minded souls in the U.S. spent nearly $9 billion on costumes, candy and decorations. That doesn’t include travel dollars spent on fall-themed or haunted attractions, or the cities and towns like New Orleans, Sleepy Hollow, NY, etc., that virtually burst at the seams with annual visitors.
